Sound Garden Instructions

I. OBTAINING AND INSTALLING THE SONIC BABYLON APPLICATION ON YOUR MOBILE DEVICE
• Register by entering a user name, password, and email address. All information is confidential and will not be used or sold.
• Choose the sound garden you want to enter from the list of active gardens.
• Download the software for your particular mobile device and follow the installation instructions.
• Enter the sound garden, and begin.

II. PARTICIPATING IN A SOUND GARDEN
• Listen. You will hear the sound garden as soon as your application is configured. The sounds will change relative to your location as you move around the garden. If you only want to listen, nothing else is required. Enjoy.
• Prune. To change the volume, or alter the frequency of repetition of sounds already planted in the garden, go to the Prune screen of the app, select the sound you want to alter, make your changes, and then click enter. Your modifications will be sent to the server and broadcast to everyone in the garden.
• Plant. You may either select from existing sounds in the library, or upload a sound of your own from your mobile device (mp3 files, 2.5 MB max). Your sounds must be your own and not under copyright to someone else. In either case, go to the the Plant screen of the app, choose the sound you want to upload, set the parameters of playback, and click enter. Your sound will be sent to the server and broadcast to everyone in the garden.
• View Messages. You may also create and view messages related to the sounds of the garden by going to the message screen. Notifications of software updates from the management team will be posted here as well.
• Logout of the Garden. You may exit the garden at any time by clicking on Exit.
